Why Are My Facebook Ads Not Being Approved?
After you create your campaign on Facebook, your ads will go through certain procedures and be reviewed by Facebook machine. In some cases, it takes a short amount of time but sometimes it takes longer according to your targeting as well.
If you target many countries on your campaign, your ads would be reviewed by all Facebook’s robot machines in each country that you targeted. For the US and Europe, it usually takes longer time than the other countries.
So what if your ads being rejected after review?
Well, if your ads are being rejected, it means your ads have broken facebook’s policy. And these are some rules that usually are broken when you run your ads.
Mention “ Facebook / Instagram “
You have to know, that your ads should’ve not consisted of words “ Facebook or Instagram “since it’s simply the brand of both organizations.
And sometimes it leads to assumptions that Facebook endorses your product. So you should avoid using those words in your ads.
Too Much Text on Picture
Sometimes, it just looks good to run ads by pictures and using text on it, since the first time what audiences see is the pictures. So that tempts advertisers to put text on their pictures.
But that is being prohibited by facebook to run pictures ads that have more than 20% of the text. So you should be careful to put text on your picture. You can check in facebook overlay first, to check your pictures will be approved by Facebook or not
Clickbait/landing page doesn’t work
While on review, Facebook will not only review your campaign structures and your creatives but also your landing page and your website funnel.
If you running clickbait ads or your landing page doesn’t work, your ads will be rejected by Facebook.
Overpromise and before-after images
These rules are usually broken by many advertisers. To write an over-promise copy, like “ Lose Weight 20 Lbs in 1 day “ and also show before-after images.
You cannot run this kind of creative in your copywriting and image. Facebook will automatically reject your ads.
Those are some of Facebook’s policy that most advertiser breaks. But since your ads been reviewed by machine, sometimes it’s too strict.
If you find your ads do not break any facebook’s policy while your ads are still rejected by Facebook, you can appeal and ask to re-review. You can chat facebook support or go into ads account quality.
